Sandra Anita (Wicks) Vaughan of South Chesterfield passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Samuel L. and Annabelle Crank Wicks, and was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Vaughan. Mrs. Vaughan was a member of Community Christian Fellowship in Chesterfield. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alton L. Vaughan Sr.; her children, Lorenzo Vaughan (Scott), Angela Vaughan, Alton Vaughan Jr. (Lisa), and Denzel Vaughan (Dawn); eight grandchildren, Heather Way, Greggory Vaughan, Jesse Vaughan, Tatum Farmer, Denzel Vaughan Jr., Aaron Vaughan, Destiny Curtis and Ryan Wilkins; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Fick (John); a niece, Becky Burton; and a nephew, Ryan Fick. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Jim Burton officiating. Interment will follow in East Matoaca Cemetery, S. Chesterfield. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
