Greg Atwell passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning, November the 27th, 2018, at the Medical City Lewisville. He was raised alongside his brothers in Arlington Texas, but later moved to Flower Mound Texas. He is survived by his wife Toni Cook Atwell, and his son and daughter from a previous marriage, Greg Jr. and Christine Atwell.

Greg was passionate about many things in life, but more so than anything he was passionate about the Boy Scouts of America. He spent many years dedicating his time to the organization, making many friends along the way, and changing the lives of several young men. He will truly be missed by an organization that seeks to unite boys with nature and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A viewing will be held Sunday, December the 2nd at 3pm at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville Texas, and a celebration of his life will follow at 1pm at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound Texas on Monday, December the 3rd. These two ceremonies will be followed by his eventual burial at Eden cemetery in Douglas Texas on Tuesday the 4th.
