Myrtle was an excellent cook and enjoyed needlepoint. She attended the Church of God.
Myrtle is survived by daughter: Phyllis (Charles “Jumbo”) Whetsel of Ingalls; sons: Charles (Connie) Thompson of TN and Glen (Glenda) Thompson of Ingalls; grandchildren: Sheila (Cliff) Asher, Russell (Courtney) Whetsel, Michael (Joni) Thompson, Greg Thompson, Candy Smith, Sabrina (Joey) Hutchison, Amber (Andrew) Sparks, Amanda Thompson and Stacy Thompson; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother: Earl Jessie and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Thompson; sons: Michael and Robert Thompson and granddaughter: Angela Whetsel and several brothers and sisters.
A service to celebrate Myrtle’s life will be held on _Friday, November 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson.
