Neuralgia of the heart caused the death of Mrs. Candace S. Rogers, wife of Levi Rogers early yesterday morning at her home, 312 Kengston Pl. She had been ill for two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Schaffner-Queen Funeral Home, E.Center Street, followed by interment in Marion Cemetery.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Iberia March 31, 1852, the daughter of Alfred and Caroline Syphes Smith. Her mother was also a native of Morrow county. Sept 21, 1884, Miss Smith became the bride of Levi Rogers, who survives. She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church.
