Buddy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky Abbe; and his grandson, Reece Abbe, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Betty J. Abbe; son, Reece Abbe of Decatur, TX; son, Randy Abbe and his wife, Misty of Garland, TX; daughter, Regina Gay and her husband, Hal of Garland, TX; daughter, Lori McLendon and her husband, Brent of Arlington, TX; step-daughter, Bettina Richardson and her husband, Terry of San Antonio, TX; step-daughter, Renae DuBose and her husband, Russ of Maypearl, TX; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and his sister, Peggy Holder of Dallas, TX.
