Justin Lee Lynch, 16 of Blackshear, passed away Sunday evening, December 2, 2018.

Born in Florence, SC on January 31, 2002, he had lived in Blackshear since he was 5 years old. Justin was in his Junior year at Pierce County High School where he was a good student that excelled in academics. He loved playing basketball with his friends and spending time with his dogs. Justin was a kind, loyal, giving young man with a heart of gold. He enjoyed working with his hands and was always ready to help his friends or family with any task. Justin was a faithful member of First Baptist Church being a member of the RAs and the Youth Group. He was a person that anyone would want as a friend and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Braveboy Evans and his great-grandmother, Frida Johns.

Survivors include his mother, Michelle Lynch (David Floyd) of Blackshear; his father, Gerald Lynch of SC; his sister, Ashley Lynch Britt (D.J.) of Hartsville, SC; two uncles, Anthony Mims of Charleston, SC and Robert Wilson of Coward, SC; his grandparents, Harvey “Stone” Mims (Sandra) of Cades, SC; Etta Powell (Bill) of Darlington, SC; his nephew, Carter Britt of Hartsville, SC; and several other relatives and numerous friends.

Funeral services for Justin will be held Thursday evening, December 6, 2018, at 6 o’clock from the First Baptist Church.

Interment will be in the Sandy Bay Cemetery in South Carolina on Friday afternoon, December 7, 2018, at 2 o’clock.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church from 5:00 PM until the Service Hour.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
