Charlotte C. Byrne-Snyder
93, formerly of Cortland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at Louisville, Ohio. She was born on Dec. 20, 1919 in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of the late James and Helen Maruhn Davis. Charlotte was a member of Bazetta Christian Church and Morning Light Chapter #80, O.E.S. and was a 50 year member of the Social Order of the Beauceant, She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, reading, doing ceramics and playing cards. In her own words "I'm proud of my family, thankful for their love and care and watching my grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren grow up. I'm also thankful for the many friendships I've made along life's road." She was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School and moved to Trumbull Co. in 1942. She married Raymond A. Byrne on Jan. 21, 1938 and he passed away on Oct. 12, 1981. She then married Warren A. Snyder on June 6 1987, who preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1993.
