Russell Stanley Sharp, 61, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 in Bowie.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Saint Peter Lutheran Church in Bowie, with Rev. Larry Knobloch officiating.
Burial will follow at the Saint Peter Cemetery in Bowie.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Russell was born March 17, 1957 in Bowie, to Winford and Charlotte (Roth) Sharp. He worked for 12 years in the oil field as a rough neck and driller, then 15 years as an aircraft mechanic for the North Grumman Company, and 2 years as a correctional officer.
On April 4, 2009 Russell married Gail Rainwater in Bowie. He loved tending to his grape vineyard, and enjoyed spending time fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and friend Johnny Morales.
Russell is survived by his wife Gail Sharp of Bowie , his daughter Melissa Roberts her husband Terry Roberts both of Hawesville Ky, His grandchildren Rafe Sutton of Hawesville Ky, Tristian Sutton of Lewisport Ky, Gabriel Roberts of Hawesville Ky. Step-children Christiana Buck of Calhoun Ky, Amy Douglas of Calhoun Ky, Jonathan Douglas of Livermore Ky, Eric Pyatt of Bowie and Emily Davidson of Gaylesville, AL; Step grandchildren Nicholas Deopp of Livermore Ky, Kylee Wilson of Calhoun Ky, David Thibodaux of La, Mercedes Thibodaux of La, Marcus Thibodaux of La,, Scotty Tharp of Calhoun Ky, Bella and Michael Ray Davidson; sister Donna Musick of Bowie; brother Larry Sharp and wife Connie of Bowie; dear friend Ken Reid of Rhome; and numerous nieces and nephews.
