Obituary for Helen Rosty
The funeral for Casper resident Helen Darlene Rosty, 83, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church by Pastor Jon Olson.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory.
She died November 29, 2018, at Wyoming Medical Center.
Born Nov. 14, 1935, in Thermopolis, Wyoming, she was the daughter of Ruth (Lawrence) Bright and Donald Bright; she spent her childhood in Wyoming and California.
On July 21, 1951, she married Clifford Rosty in Glenrock.
Helen was a waitress and beautician before co-owning and assisting in managing R&R Roofing Co. in Casper, Wyoming with her husband.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and loved spending time with her family, playing Bunco with her church friends, baking, and hosting family gatherings at her home.
Survivors include her two sons, Randy (Cindy) Rosty and Steve (Sandy) Rosty, all of Casper; daughter, Linda (Roger) Uglow of Kimball, Neb.; eight grandchildren, Tracie (Pat) Calkin, Chad Rosty, Christopher (Kim) Uglow, Kevin (Allison) Uglow, Aaron (Autum) Uglow, Shane (Becky) Rosty, Amber (William) Zimmer, and Brandon (Taylor) Rosty; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, a child, and a grandchild.
