He graduated from Highland High School in 1993. He served his country in two branches of the military. In the Army he was a recruit squad leader, and did a tour of duty in Korea with the 82nd Airborne. He then graduated as Recruit Chief Petty Officer at the Great Lakes Naval Station, and was the only graduate in his class wearing Jump Wings. He then later served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Josh is survived by his parents, Michael and Sheila Rogers; his sister, Kellie (David) Granger; his son, Adrian Meeker; his daughters, Morgan Rogers, Lauren Caldwell, and Sailor Rogers; grandson, Conner Rambo; a granddaughter due in May; nieces, Hunter and Sydnee Granger; nephews, AJ. and Kolton Granger; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins including Debbie Bonner, and RonJohnson.
He was laid to rest with military honors at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Nov. 8, 2018.
