DOUGHERTY, Patrick O., 76, Elton, died November 30, 2018 at Forest Hills Personal Care. Born July 8, 1942, in Johnstown, son of the late Mortimore and Ida (Dunmyer) Dougherty. Also preceded in death by wife Louise E. (Brown); siblings; John Jack Dougherty, Betty Trucello and Margie Magdelinic. Survived by these children; Patrick (Patricia M. Grata), Cathy Edwards and Ron (Syreeta). Grandson; Daniel Edwards and Grandpuppy Jessica. Brother of Barbara (Frank) Zeglan, Ruth Wright and Peggy (Bob) Riek. Also, nieces and nephews. Pat served in the PA National Guard. He served over 50 years in the mining industry. Pat was an avid hunter and fisherman who will be missed by family and friends. He was a gentle man with a big heart. Friends received 4-8 pm Monday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday. Fr. Walter Moll, officiating.
