The son of Will Helm and Alice (Sleets) Helm (later Clark) and husband of Agnes H. Burch, Leonard resided on West Chestnut Street and was a 39-year employee of the parcel post division of the Louisville Post Office. He died at St Joseph Infirmary of a brain abscess, and following funeral services at St Augustine Church, was interred at Calvary on 5 December 1964.
