Walter Morris McClure, Jr., loving husband of Shirley Ann Clark McClure, died December 2, 2018. Morris was born in Madison, GA on February 12, 1935 to Walter Morris McClure, Sr. and Mary Gatewood Moseley McClure. He was a graduate of Morgan County High School and Southern Tech in Atlanta, now Kennesaw State University. Mr. McClure worked as an engineer for Watkins and Associates, Ball Homes, Barlow, and UBS. He was a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and more recently called Anchor Baptist Church his home. In addition to his wife, survivors include two children, John Morris (Debra) McClure and Cynthia Jane (Mark) Monfalcone; six grandchildren, Matthew Morris Lee McClure, Daniel Clark (Madyson) McClure, Tiffany Carol McClure (Carlos) Perez, Mary Allison Monfalcone, Sara Ann Monfalcone and Lindsey Grace Monfalcone; siblings, Benjamin Gatewood (Linda) McClure and Marsha Elizabeth McClure (Rip) Roper; and many nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County, Kentucky.
