George Richard Hubbard, age 75, of Spencer, passed away at 8:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Aperion Care of Spencer. He was born in Freedom on June 12, 1943, the son of George Parker & Lily Irene (Hunt) Hubbard.
George worked as a cook for many years at Kentucky Fried Chicken. He enjoyed scraping and selling.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Martha Hubbard of Spencer and a half-sister, Verna (Charles) Turpin of Old Appleton, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Howard, Herschel, Denver Foster, Gilbert, and Earl, and his six sisters, Martha Hendricks, Mary Lofflin, Patricia Tragger, Betty Hubbard, Ellen Hubbard, and Goldie Martin.
Graveside service at Defore Cemetery in Freedom will be held.
