Phyllis Jewell Richardson, 85, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab.
She was born in the Alpine Community on March 14, 1933; daughter of the late Joseph and Lena Goodin Calhoun. She was a member of Malvin Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed both playing Piano and Singing, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by grandchildren, Rick Richardson, Melody Richardson, and Mark Richardson; brother, Lawrence & (Dessie) Calhoun; and a sister, Wanda Hargis; and three great-grandchildren, Eriq Richardson, Chelsea Richardson, and Blake Richardson; and a host of other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Wendell Richardson; a brother, Kenneth Calhoun; and five sisters, Virginia Hargis, Lela "Sissy" Richardson, Audell Richardson, Imogene Burden, and Iree Losey.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Donavon Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Malvin Hill Cemetery.
