Homegoing service for Jeff Louis Murray will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with Pastor W.K. Rucker and Assistant Pastor Melvin Holloway officiating.
Committal service will follow in the Community Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Jeff, 83, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 23, 2018 in his residence. He was born February 2, 1935 in Lecompte to the late Edward Murray and Elizabeth (Mason) Murray.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elizabeth Murray; two brothers, Donald Ray Richard and Kennon Richard; two sisters, Gertrude McCain and Brenda Richard; and his step-father, Steve Richard, who raised him.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: two sisters, Ella Mitchell and Velma Deloach both of Oakdale; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Steven Richard, Patrick Richard, Keldrick Deloach, and Hamilton Sims.
Visitation will be held in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
