Funeral services for Martha Jo Austin, age 89, will be held on Monday December 2, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Will Hester officiating. Burial will follow at Yorkville Cemetery.

Ms. Austin a retired Floral Designer was born in Gibson Co. Tennessee on November 14, 1929 to the late Clyde and Earlene Brown Ashmore, and passed away Friday November 30, 2018 at Douglas Nursing Home Milan, Tennessee.

She is survived by her son Randy Austin of Bradford, Tennessee, eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Bradford Church of Christ, until such time she became a resident of the Douglas Nursing Home in Milan for approximately the past nine years.

Martha had a passion for flowers, and spent the majority of her life, until retirement working in the flowers business. For many years, she owned and operated her own florist here in Bradford.

She is preceded in death by her brother Maxie Ashmore.
