William F. Farrell, 84, a resident of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, passed away on Sunday, February 11 in Port Orange, FL. Bill was born in Troy, NY to William and Esther Farrell on July 2nd, 1933. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Bill held 3 separate Masters Degrees and was an engineer in the Aerospace Industry with General Electric, working closely with NASA during the Apollo Missions. During those years, Bill lived in Florida and Malvern, PA before retiring and moving to Daytona Beach Shores in the mid 90's. Bill was an avid golfer, and enjoyed working with computers in his retirement. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Patricia, his sister Barbara Jean Farrell, his son, William and his grandchildren, Jessica and Richard Farrell. A Funeral Service will be held for Bill on Friday, February 23rd at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning one hour prior.
