He died Monday, Sept. 6, 1999 at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born April 2, 1948 in South Newton Township, a son of the late Raymond L. Sr. and Dorcas A. Unger Cummings, he retired from the Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg.
He was a member of Minnequa Social Club and Durff-Kuhn VFW Post 6168, both of Shippensburg, AmVets Post 224, Chambersburg, Chambersburg Dart League, and he enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Cummings is survived by two brothers, Charles L. of Chambersburg and Dale E. of Marion; seven sisters, Shelby J. Nenninger, A. Barbara Coons, Cindy L. Ferry, Rita J. Fox and Connie K. Hanley, all of Shippensburg, June I. Roqueplot of Bellville, Ill. and Juanita M. Shetler of Orrstown.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond L. Jr., and a sister, Joyce L. Miley.
The Rev. Kenneth M. Wagoner Jr. will officiate at services. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Greene Township.
