Sara Katharine Reeves of Draketown passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Cedartown, June 19, 1926, daughter of the late James Floyd Hill and Dovie L. Cox Hill. She was a member of Draketown Baptist Church and was a retired owner of a retail store.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ralph Reeves.
Survivors include two children, Gail and Mike Gourley of Bremen, Jane Larue of Lithonia; a grandchild, Sage Larue of Lithonia and two sisters, Margaret Shelnutt and Betty Ann Dingler both of Cedartown.
Services will be Tuesday, December 4 at 2:00 PM from the Draketown Baptist Church with Reverend Wendell Rush and Reverend Paul Williams officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Mike Gourley, Tony Farmer, Ronney McLarty and Harold Wilkens .The caregivers, Wendy Fisher, Debbie Callahan, Joy Callahan, Debra Carroll and Reggi Walton will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in Draketown Church Cemetery.
