Survived by widow, former Miss Edith Bartgis [sic]; 2 daughters, Esther and Louise, both students at Blue Ridge College; mother, Mrs. Jesse Walker; 4 sisters, Mrs. H.J. Weast, Mrs. Henry Snyder, Mrs. Jemima Mount, Mrs. Alice C. Murdock [sic], all of Monrovia.
Lifelong resident of Monrovia; prominent in Church of the Brethren; staunch Republican. Funeral Thursday 11 Feb, Pleasant Hill church; interment Pleasant Hill cemetery.
