Jason K. Burns, 36, passed away in Ennis, Texas on December 31, 2013.

Jason was born in Plymouth, Indiana on December 30, 1977 to Douglas and Judith (Warner) Burns. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1996. He has lived in Rockett, Waxahachie, Palmer and in Ferris for the past seven and one half years.

He worked for the Dallas ISD as a skill craftsman, for Walgreens Distribution Center and Del Monte Foods. He attended the Patrick Baptist Church of Ferris. He volunteered as a coach for football and basketball with the Ferris Youth Sports Association.

He is survived by sons: Jason Tyler Burns and Lance Edward Burns; one daughter, Carlee Jean Burns; his mother, Judith Patrick and her husband, Phillip and two aunts: Nancy Cramer and Sharon Matthews and her husband, John and all his Texas friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Palmer. A Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Palmer.
