He was born May 7, 1946 in Whitehall, Arkansas, the son of the late Henry Hollister Wallace and Mary Denton Wallace Palmer. Marvin was a retired factory worker for Halstead and Meuller in Wynne. He also farmed a while for Glenn Henshaw. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, having served in Vietnam. He loved playing the guitar, fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Traynom.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Easley Wallace of Harrisburg; two daughters, Rae Hopcroft (Richard) of Benton and Melissa Gann (Hamed Saeedi) of Navarre, FL; one brother, Paul Wallace (Bonnie) of Harrisburg; one sister, Louise Cole of Marlow, OK; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
