Thomas W. "Tommy" French, 70, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018. Tommy was born in Lebanon, Missouri and had lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam war. He had retired after 30 years, from Benjamin Moore Paint Co.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce O. French; 1 sister, Joyce E. Trescot (Raymond); and 2 brothers, Paul (Anna) and Bill French.
Graveside memorial services, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 4, at Jacksonville National Cemetery (Lane #2) with Pastor Steve Hereford officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Tommy's memory to the building fund of Eastport Baptist Church, 1322 Eastport Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
