He is survived by six children, Reuben (Beverly) Aschliman of Fort Collins, CO, Stephen (Jan) Aschliman of Nashville, TN, Mary Ann (Gary) Eastty of Ridgefield, WA, Marlene (Dave) Bell of Columbia City, IN, Joyce Aschliman of Archbold, and Calvin (Annie) Aschliman of Indianapolis, IN: 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph (Betty) Aschliman of Archbold; and one sister, Kathryn Aschliman of Goshen, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, a daughter, Carolyn Aschliman; a grandson; and a brother Kenneth Aschliman.
Memorial services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at the Fairlawn Chapel with Ron Kauffman and Ryan Nafziger officating. Interment will precede at 9:30 AM in the Pettisville Cemetery. Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 2-8 PM on Sunday.
