Surrounded by his entire family, Angelo J. Matticola, 90, of Pedricktown, passed away on November 24, 2018. He was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, and was the son of Albert and Marianna (Panepinto) Matticola.

He was employed by Laborers' Local 172 in 1957 as a Construction Laborer, working for various contractors for several years until he was hired as the Safety, Education & Training Director of the Heavy & General Laborers' Funds of NJ. He loved his home in Boca Raton, Florida for many years, but, then after a while, decided to vacation a little closer to home, Ocean City, NJ where he enjoyed taking care of his beach house, especially the lawn and his rose bushes.
