Dolly J. Greigo, our beloved and beautiful mama; grandmother and sister left us to be with our Lord on November 28, 2018. Dolly fought the hardest fight of her life with courage, determination and humor until the end.

She is survived by her pride and joy, her children. JR Montoya (Adrianna) and DesiRae Nikole Tena (Ivan) and their father, Joe Ray Montoya. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Saleen; Taliyah; Ezekiel; Ivani and Danika. Siblings, Priscilla Lucero-Melendrez; Eloy Lucero; Freddie Lucero; Figgy Griego and Carol Griego-Sandoval, and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and countless friends.

Dolly was born in Las Cruces on April 10, 1957 and later moved with her family to Oxnard, CA, then back to NM where she attended Ruidoso Schools. She graduated from Ruidoso High School in 1975.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elfigo C. and Pauline M. Griego.

She spent 15 years employed by Tommy Blankenship Sand and Gravel in Alamogordo as their secretary and bookkeeper. Fishing, being outdoors and crafting for her children and grandchildren were Dolly’s passion. There was never a time she put herself first. In her heart, all her babies came first.

She will forever be missed by all, but continuously remembered for her wittiness.

Mama, you are now healed. So go and spread your wings and fly into the loving arms of grandpa and grandma. We love you and thank you dearly for your unconditional love; respect and life. May God bless you.

The rosary will be Monday, December 3, at 9:30 A.M. at St. Eleanor Catholic Church the funeral mass to follow at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Gavilan Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Ruidoso, NM.
