She married Howard Hadley in July of 1960 and moved to the U.S. after a honeymoon trip on the Queen Mary. Margaret and Howard made their home in Park Ridge, IL for 40 years before moving to Terre Haute in 2000.
Survivors include a son, Andrew Hadley (Jane) of Terre Haute; a daughter, Sarah Aikman (Brian) of Independence, KY; a sister, Helen Reilly of Terre Haute; and grandchildren, Lauren Hadley of Terre Haute and Alex Aikman of Independence, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hadley in 2013 and her parents.
Peg attended the Ollie Institute at Indiana State with her husband and was very involved at the Park Ridge, IL Public Library. While living in England, she was in charge of all Revlon Cosmetics counters in major department stores in London, England. Peg became a United States Citizen in 1993. The family would like to thank the staff of Bethesda Gardens for taking such good care of Peg for the past 5 ½ years. They truly made our lives worry free and took such good care of her. They are angels. Also, Kindred Hospice for their care in her final hours.
