Neil Wade "Cookie" Frazier
September 13, 1965 - November 24, 2018

On Saturday, November 24, 2018, Neil Wade “Cookie” Frazier took up his heavenly wings and ascended home to be with Jesus. His life began on September 13, 1965, the sixth of seven children born to Lillian L. Frazier and Harold J. Johnson, of Williamsburg.

At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Personal Savior and was baptized at Zion Baptist Church, Lightfoot. He graduated from Lafayette High School, Williamsburg, Virginia, in 1983. After graduating from high school, he attended Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, Virginia and later attended Shaw University in Raleigh North Carolina. He was employed as an Upholstery Technician with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.

Neil had a strong love for basketball, playing with the Lafayette High School Basketball team and the Williamsburg Recreational League. His favorite team was the “L.A. Lakers.” He also loved watching his favorite Football team “The Los Angeles Rams”

Neil was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Oscar and Lorraine Johnson, and his maternal grandparents, George and Lillian Frazier. He leaves to cherish precious memories with his son, Neil Treyvion White, of Williamsburg; mother, Lillian L Frazier, of Williamsburg; father, Harold J. Johnson, of Williamsburg; four sisters, Rema Frazier Henderson (Mark), of Prince George Country, Virginia, Carol J. Pierce, Carles Hankle (Olanda) both of Williamsburg, and Crystal L. Hill (Richard) of Richmond, Virginia; brothers, Darryle J. Frazier (Pamela) and Anthony K. Frazier (Bonita), both of Williamsburg; aunts; uncles; four nieces; four nephews; two devoted cousins, Michael “Mike” Frazier and Warren “Bug” Carter; and host of other cousins, family and friends.

A service, celebrating his life, will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2018, in Zion Baptist Church, Lightfoot. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends are to assemble at the church by 1:30 p.m. Monday. Mr. Frazier may be viewed from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, in the funeral home.
