Joseph P. Yates of Warminster, Pa. passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018. He was 86. Joseph was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Ralph Yates and Mary DiNardo Hansbury. He was preceded in death by sister, Dolores Caputo, and brother, Thomas DiNardo. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rosina (Mauro), and was the loving father of Rosemarie Patterson, Rosanne Boland (Thomas), Susan Gabriel (Robert) and Joanne Hund. He was Pop Pop to ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Arlene Spence, brother, Philip DiNardo, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a Korean War veteran serving in the United States Army as Sergeant. He retired from AARP on York Road, as a Warehouse Supervisor. His family is grateful for the care he received from the Bayada nurses and caregivers and recently at Abington/Jefferson Hospice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 W. Street Road, Warminster, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be held in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
