Christopher S. Ward Sr., passed away suddenly Saturday, September 30th, at the age of 57. Born in Bristol, PA, Chris is a lifelong Levittown resident and a true pillar of the community. Throughout life, Chris strived to be the very best as a father, son, grandfather, uncle, and accomplished businessman. With all of his success, Chris supported local businesses and always rooted for the underdog, and had a unique gift for making everyone he met feel special. To the community of Levittown, Chris is most well known as co-owner of Bailey's Bar & Grille and Bailey's Plaza but to his friends, employees and family he was so much more. For those who had the pleasure of truly knowing him, they knew Chris as a humble, kind, and selfless man with a loving caring heart. He loved to make everyone laugh with his unique sense of humor but what made him happiest was being "Chocolate Pop-Pop" and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time down the shore in Chadwick Beach, NJ.

Preceded in death by his brothers Kerry and Jeffrey Ward, Chris is survived by his parents Gloria (nee Bernatonis) Bertonis and her life companion Ed Weiser, and his father Eugene (Edna) Ward, his adoring children Danielle Ward, Sara (Joel) Werline, and Christopher S. Ward Jr., cherished grandchildren Brendan, Aubrielle, Averi, Skylar, and Gabriel, and siblings Patrice Wynne, Holley (Ray) Betz, and Jason Ward. Chris is also survived his long time companion Debra Hudanish, his ex-wife and best friend Anna Ward-Brown, long time friend Erin Scully, and his dear friend and mentor Ed Kramarz, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to Chris' Life Celebration on Tuesday, October 10th, from 5-8 PM and again on Wednesday, October 11th, from 9-10 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 10 AM at the Beck Givnish Life Celebration Home, 7400 New Falls Rd., Levittown PA 19055. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army at www.satruck.com.
