Max Leroy Strickler passed away Monday Nov, 19, 2018, at Adventist Hospital after a long illness surrounded by his loving family.
Max was born in Seton, Ill., to Alice Fern and Roy Strickler.

He married his high school sweetheart Marylin Leezer in 1956 and together raised four children. Max and Marylin were married 60 years. They were adventurous and moved from place to place, eventually landing in Estacada, Oregon.

Max worked in construction doing everything from architecture to general contracting. He was very proud of the homes that he and Marylin designed and built in their spare time. Max loved to travel, hunt, fish, golf and most of all spend time with friends and family.

Max was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rachel; and his wife, Marylin.

He is survived by his children, Steve, Teri, Cathleen and Ken; grandchildren, Chelsie, Jennifer, Lindsay, Amy, Aiden, Rachel, Steven, Max and Kayleigh; and great-grandchild, Mila.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, at Mt. View Golf Course.
