Harold Leslie Ball, 82, of Chattanooga was born on January 10, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia passed away on November, 27, 2018 in a local hospital.
Harold served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957, retired from TVA in 1991. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan for 49 years. Harold was of the Baptist Faith.
Harold was preceded in death by his father and mother, Albert Leslie Ball and Bonnie Lucille Brown Ball.
Survivors include his loving wife and friend of almost 57 years, Betty Jean Shrum Ball; two sisters, Betty Jo Parks, Carolyn (Tommy) Harrison; two nieces, Kristin Bailey, Kendel (Paul) Martin; great niece, Delaney White and other nieces and nephews, Dave (Debbie) Curtis, Wayne (Tommie) Curtis, Cindy (George) Aslinger, Debbie Rains, Mark (Michelle) Shrum, Pam (Mark) Zumbrun, and many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be ; George Aslinger III, Phillip Aslinger, Luke Shrum, Drew Zumbrun, Josh Yarbrough, Will Rains and Blake Curtis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Darrell Davenport officiating with military honors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
