Michael Harry Waldron, was born on December 4, 1949 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Harry and Catherine (Rourke) Waldron. He is the youngest of his three siblings: Freida, Steve and Linda. He moved with his family to Boise, Idaho in 1952 and then to Cascade, Idaho in 1957.

Mike graduated from Cascade High School in 1968. He attended Boise State University for a short time and then enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 10, 1970 and served until January 13, 1972. Mike was a proud American and always had the U.S. flag displayed wherever he was.

Mike was married in 1983 and in and February of 1984 welcomed his baby girl, Krista Jillian into the world. In March of 1986, he had his baby boy, Kyle Norman. He knew they were the best thing to ever happen to him. They gave him six amazing grandchildren: Michael Scott – 12, Hayden Stanley – 10, Haven Rayne – 5, Jase Layne – 5, Oakley Skye – 3 and Jaxton Dylanger – 1. They were his world and meant everything to him. He always did anything and everything he could for them. Especially, always spoiling them with candy, gum, suckers and soda! He was always so proud of all of them. He was the very best Grandpa and Papa.

Mike loved the mountains and everything about them. He loved calling Cascade his home. He has always been a Boise State Broncos fan, never missing a game. Mike loved going on drives and watching soap operas and western shows with his brother, Steve. He has always loved watching his old western movies. He loved hanging out every day with his best friend, Larry. He was the very best door greeter at the Valley Store, always there to welcome everyone that came in. And, most of all, he loved always being with his family. They were his pride and joy.

Mike passed away peacefully in his home on November 16, 2018. He will be greatly missed, and forever loved.

Graveside Funeral services with military honors will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Margaret Cemetery, Cascade, Idaho.
