Lee A. Hill
Age 97, of Hobart passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Center. Lee was born on February 20, 1921 in Kentucky to John and Victoria (nee McKeehan) Hill.

He retired from USX where he worked as a crane operator, and was a member of the DAV Chapter 80 in Crown Point. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

On June 29, 1946 Lee married the love of his life Josephine (nee Boyd) Hill in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Lee is survived by his two daughters, Jacqueline (Gerald) Gillins and Vickie (David) Wineinger; seven grandchildren, Eric (Lori) Gillins, Kurt (Patty) Gillins, Kevin (Emily) Gillins, Laura (Lemarr) Reyna, Andrew(Jodi)Wineinger, Jay (Megan) Wineinger and Hillary Wineinger; numerous great-grandchildren half-brother, Ralph (Brenda) Stewart; one half-sister, Dora Berry and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine; his parents, John and Victoria Hill and half-brother, Edward Stewart.
