Shirley Jewell Stinnett, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (November 27, 2018) at her home.



She was born on July 12, 1936 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Benny and Ruby Hultz Jewell.



She was a housewife who enjoyed crafts and baking cakes and was a member of Grayson County Homemakers and Sunshine club for over 40 years.



She is survived by her four daughters, Starlynn Hodge, Sandra White (Darrell), Patricia Montgomery (Kevin), Terry Stinnett (Regina); one son, Terry Stinnett (Regina); 13 grandchildren, Shannon Harp, Paula Smallwood, Trenton Hodge, Teresa Cummings, Michael Hillard, Eric Stinnett, Chase Stinnett, Heather Booker, Chad Russell, Tabitha Ford, Travis Kerr, Derrick White, and Nathaniel Hardin; 18 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren also survive.



Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hershell Stinnett; one daughter, Phyllis Beers; three sisters, Betty Lasley, Joyce Short, and Nancy Jessie; and one brother, James "Jimmy" Jewell.



Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (November 30, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Don Powell Jr. and Bro. Billy Hack will be officiating. Burial will be in the Lile Cemetery.
