Elizabeth Jean OrihoodElizabeth Jean Orihood, 70, of Huntington, WV., went to be with the Lord August 27, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2009 at Fellowship Baptist Church by Dr. Jerry Warren.
She was born December 5, 1938 in Barboursville, a daughter of the late Robert Woodrow "Popie" and Allene Gordon Arthur Anderson.
She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a retired employee of Cabell Huntington Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Orihood; one daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Michael Brunty, of South Point, OH; one son, Robert Ossie France, of Milton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Lee and Martha Anderson of Waldorf, MD. and Danny and Debbie Anderson of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren, Jeanna, Kadin and Amy; four great-grandchildren, Dakota, James, Hannah and Morrigan; and two special friends, Marianne Williams and Beth Ross.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 75 Maiden Lane, Suite 603, New York, New York, 10038. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Monday at Fellowship Baptist Church.
