He is survived by his five siblings, Susan Methany, Diane (Berla Bowlby) Ward, Karyn (Danial) Shine, Weston Ward and Anne (Fred) Craft and seven nieces and nephews.
Brian loved his country very much. He attended Elkhart Memorial High School and enjoyed building and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed collecting police memorabilia and flying on his computer-based flight simulator.
Friends and family were invited from 3 - 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 at Billings Funeral Home, to share memories and stories of Brian. A memorial service followed at 5 p.m. The Rev. Matthew Coonan officiated. Per his wishes, cremation was chosen.
Memorials are requested to the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
