Bobbie Charles Phillips, 84, of Weatherford passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2018.
Bob was born Dec. 4, 1933, in Gorman, Texas, to Jim and Grace Phillips.
He married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Elda Carr, in 1951.
While living in west Texas, he worked for Gulf and Texaco before moving to Weatherford in 1971, where he started a greenhouse business. He returned to the oilfields before starting his own business. Bob, along with his wife and children opened and operated Phillips Water Hauling, the first in Parker County, in 1986 where he continued to work to the present. Bob was a member of North Side Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with the people he loved, collecting antique cars and cruising the world with his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his son, DeWayne; daughter-in-law, Fonda Phillips; as well as his sister, Charlotte, and her husband, James Boles.
