Ernest J. Love, 97, of Endicott, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, November 25th, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn, infant daughter Carol Love, his parents Clarence and Marguerite Love, brother Clarence "Red", and sisters Justina and Lois. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia (Joseph) Frederick of Endicott; granddaughters Becky (Josh) Shusterman of Havelock, NC, Laura (Tom) Godbout of Endicott, and Sarah Frederick of Endicott; great-grandchildren Liliana, Alexa, Gabriel Shusterman, Jaxon, Kade, and Emilia Godbout (due in March), and many beloved relatives and friends. Ernie was born on July 20, 1921, graduated from UE High School in 1940, and was an IBM retiree. He proudly served in the US Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant with Company E, 106th Infantry Regiment. He was a Silver Star and Purple Heart recipient.
