WEDDING ANNIVERSARY ~ SEPTEMBER 16th

Love planted a rose, and the world turned sweet. ~ Katherine Lee Bates

~ The Rose Beyond The Wall ~

A rose once grew where all could see, sheltered beside a garden wall, And as the days passed swiftly by, it spread it's branches, straight and tall...

One day, a beam of light shone through a crevice that had opened wide The rose bent gently toward its warmth then passed beyond to the other side

Now, you who deeply feel its loss, be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~ its beauty even greater now, nurtured by God's own Loving Care.
~ By A.L. Frink

From Rosie's memorial program:

Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow,
but remember me in every tomorrow.

Remember the joy the laughter, the smiles
I've only gone to rest a little while.

Although my leaving causes pain and grief,
my going has eased my hurt and given me
relief.

So dry your eyes and remember me,
not as I am now, but as I used to be.

Because, I will remember you all and look on
with a smile.
Understand, in your hearts, I've only gone to
rest a little while.

As long as I have the love of each of you,
I can live my lfe in the hearts of all of
you. ~ Author Unknown

Rosie was preceded in death by her younger brother LEO CARRILLO in 1974, who at the age of nineteen was robbed, beaten and shot to death, by the male and female hitchhikers that he picked up one night. She was also preceded in death by another brother named Jimmy Carrillo, who lost his life in an car accident when he was just a teenager, followed by her loving mother; and most recently her father.
