SHINNSTON — Christopher Alan McKinney, 42, of Shinnston, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born in Clarksburg, December 27, 1975, a son of Dolly and Steven Adams.
Surviving are his wife, Christina Marie Allman McKinney, whom he married March 28, 2018. He had two stepchildren, Matthew Allman and Memphis Murphy; two grandchildren, Lakoda Shumate and Quinn Beverly; his siblings, David McKinney and his wife, Kimberly, Lisa Long, Julie McKinney, Jesse Powell and his, wife Misty and several nieces and nephews.
Chris was employed by RW Products and formerly a longtime employee of Walmart in Clarksburg. He had an outspoken personality. He loved music and his family.
The family will receive friends at the Higher Rock Church, 305 Haywood Road, Shinnston, from 2-8 p.m. Thursday where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2018, with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating. Interment will be in the Lions Club Cemetery in Lumberport.
The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the McKinney family.
