Mr. Savage was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth H. and Albert Rich of Marietta, Ga.; a sister, Connie M. Howard of Rome, Ga.; and a brother, David Savage of Chesapeake.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Danny Morris. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hollomon-Brown & Snellings Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, and also at 312 Jule Drive, Chesapeake.
