Funeral services for Betty Jo Stokes, 74, of Winnsboro, will be 2 pm Wednesday, November 28, 2018, in Coax Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Perry and Rev. Donald Kincaid officiating. Interment will follow in Coax Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service at the church.

Betty Jo was born March 25, 1944 in Rayville to the union of Bilbo Martin and Sallie Marie Easterling Martin and passed from this life on November 26, 2018, at her residence in Winnsboro.

Betty enjoyed reading, painting, fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Louis Denmon of Winnsboro; two daughters: Holly Denmon and Larry Barnett of Hamburg, AR; Lora Johnson and husband Carey of Winnsboro; two brothers: Charles Martin and wife Linda of Andrews, TX, Ronnie R. Martin of West Monroe; one sister, Shirley Denmon of Winnsboro; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Allen Wayne Barber, Jacob Crawford, William Denmon, Devin Freeman, Paul Q. Freeman, Shannon Humphries, and David Martin.
