Larry E. Bragg, 68, of Springfield, formerly of Oak Hill, WV, died at 11:20 pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at St. John’s Hospital. He was born on July 26, 1950 in Oak Hill, WV to Clarence and Buelah (Martin) Bragg. He married Donna Gunderson in 1974. They were later divorced.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristin (Keith) Klasing of Springfield; two grandchildren, Erin and Lucas Klasing; three sisters, Freda (Bobby) Atkins of Prudence, WV, Sara Miller of Scarbro, WV and Martha (Scott) Williams of Lawrenceburg, KY; two brothers, Marco (Margaret) Bragg of Scarbro, WV and Timmy (Vicky) Bragg of Lumberport, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Dixon; a sister Bonnie Ruff and a brother Stephen Bragg.

Larry was a United States Army veteran. Larry was a tissue and organ donor through Gift of Hope.

Visitation: 1 – 2 pm Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Prayer Service: 2 pm at Staab Funeral Home- Springfield with Sr. Maira Barry officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in Oak Hill, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helping the Homeless in Springfield.
