Marion Rexford dies at age of seventy-nine
Marion A. Rexford, 79, of Grand View Health Care Unit, Franklin, Pa. died Sunday Feb. 9, 1986 in the health care facility.
She was born Aug. 31,1906, in Cherry Creek, the daughter of Anson and Inez Brookes Newton.
Mrs. Rexford attended public schools in Kennedy and was graduated from Randolph Central School. She was also a graduate of Fredonia Normal School, and had taught school in southern New York for several years.
Surviving are two sons; Jerry L. Rexford, of Coudersport, Pa., and Dr. Gene E. Rexford of Franklin; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Rexford.
The funeral was held Wednesday in Richard Lynd Funeral Home, Coudersport.
