Justine "Jay" Jackson, 94, lifetime Hibbing resident, passed away on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Heritage Manor in Chisholm. She was born June 25, 1918, to Lathen and Gertrude (Krueger) Vincent in Mellen, Wis., and was raised in Hibbing.

She was a 1936 graduate of Hibbing High School. On July 11, 1937, she married Howard Elwood Jackson. Justine was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she had been a former Sunday School and release time teacher, choir member and a Bible study group member. She had been employed at Herberger's, Shop Rite Market and Walken's Jewelry Store. Justine loved to bake, cook and entertain. Her interests were in crafts, aerobics, dancing, hiking, picnics, coffee parties, and visiting with family and friends. She was a caring person and loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.

Justine is survived by her daughters: Roberta (Thomas) Bispala, and Diane (Richard) Berganini; son-in-law, Richard Paolo; grandchildren: Jaren (Tami) Bispala, Deven (Jeremy) Noteboom, Michael (Linda) Berganini , Steven Berganini, Daniel Berganini, Michelle (Edward) Chamernick, Brenda (Jay) Kintner and Brian (Misti) Giffin; nieces and nephews: Paulette (Larry) Gustin, Susan Hansen, Leonard (Nancy) Kiskis, JoAnne (Richard Stockton) Riccelli , and Stephanie (Richard) Murrer; numerous great-grandchildren; grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and sister-in-law, Louisa (William) Huffer .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, in 1977; a daughter, Jennifer Paolo, in 2002; her parents; two sisters: Elaine (John) Riccelli and Aurore (Paul) Kiskis; and a foster brother, Louis Vincent.
