ROBERT ANTHONY KLINK Age 80, of Tequesta, Florida, passed away December 23, 2003. He became a P.G.A. Professional in 1946 after serving in the Army Air Corps during W.W.II, when he flew 30 missions over Germany as a Bombadier on B-17's in the 487th Bomb Group. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement. He was the head Professional at the Binghamton Country Club for 31 years, retiring from there in 1991. He was a member of the P.G.A. National Golf Club in its early years and was later a member of the Willoughby Golf Club in Stuart, FL. He was inducted in the Hall of Fame of the Central New York Section of the P.G.A. of America in the year 2000. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Margaret "Peggy"; his two brothers: John Edward Klink and James Klink; both of Syracuse, NY, several nieces and nephews; and his brother-in- law, Martin J. Gildemeyer. Friends may call at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center Street, Jupiter, FL from 6 - 8 PM Friday, December 26, 2003. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Jude's Catholic Church at 11AM Saturday, December 27, 2003, Rev. Fr. Thomas Vengayil celebrant.
