She was born April 13, 1944 in Springfield, VT, a daughter of the late Everett Ulysses Jackson and Clara Edna Chevalier. She was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church and she loved dogs and flea markets.
She is survived by one son, Steve Eugene Holland and his wife, Ann of Lynch Station; four daughters, Terry Boley of Lynch Station, Donna Sawyer and her husband, Ernie of Lynchburg, Kathy Gunter and her husband, Otis of Appomattox and Brenda Padgett of Lynch Station; a sister, Helen Osgood and her husband, Waylon of New Hampshire; fourteen grandchildren, Stacy, Michelle, Ricky, Wendy, Matthew, Steven, Johnathan, Curtis, Hollie, Johnny, Kimberly, Jason, Amy and Timothy, twenty-two great grandchildren; a special friend, Linda Jackson; and companion Randy Bowling; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, John Boley; two sisters, Linda Pond and Irene Fowler; and two brothers, Larry and Dickie Jackson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with interment to follow in Altavista Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m., Friday at Finch and Finch Funeral and Cremation Service, Altavista and other times at the residence.
