This window is dedicated to the glory of god and in loving memory of Sir Emile Algernon Arthur Keppel Cowell-Stepney, Baronet of Llanelly. Born at Mannheim, Germany 26th DecR 1834. Educated at Eton College. Clerk in the Foreign Office 1852 to 1873. Attache to the Earl of Clarendon Embassy to Berlin as Her Majesty Queen Victorias Evoy extraordinary to the King of Prussia on his Majesty's Coronation Oct. 1st 1861. High Sherriff for Carmarthenshire 1884. MP for the Carmarthen Boroughs 1876-78 and 1886 - 92. D.L and F. R.G.S. Married 24th August 1875 Margaret daughter of George Lord De Tabley of Tabley Cheshire. Died 2nd July 1909 at Yuma, Arizona, America. Buried at Llanelly 31st July 1909.This memorial was erected by his wife and daughter .
